The Research Pharmacy Summit examines timely topics critical to pharmacy research. 2020 session topics include best practices for the operation of investigational drug services, lessons learned while adapting to the pandemic, approaches to building strong relationships with sponsors, as well as reporting and billing issues and solutions. Round table discussions focus on meeting USP 800 requirements, managing gene/viral/vector studies, and facilitating hybrid/virtual trial designs.

The cost of registration is $200; $150 for residents and pharmacy technicians.
No refunds will be made for cancellation requests as attendees are able to attend on-demand sessions and receive the CE credits at a later date convenient for the attendee.
Educational Sessions Eligible for Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit
While attending the Research Pharmacy Summit, attendees can earn up to 7 live hours of pharmacy continuing education (CE) credits by participating in educational sessions and round-table discussions. After the event, attendees can earn an additional 2 CEs by attending the remaining round-table discussions as home study activities.
Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
Virtual and on-demand sessions are planned and implemented with the support of CEImpact. CEimpact is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Participants receive CPE codes for the live (virtual) courses they attend and will be required to complete an online exam and evaluation on CEImpact’s LMS by November 15, 2020. The on-demand sessions will be available for a full year following the event.
Education Sessions and Round-Table Discussions
Educational Sessions are lead by dynamic speakers who are leaders in the industry. Attendees are active participants and are encouraged to ask questions and join on-line discussions. Additionally, attendees select one of three round table discussions to attend live. These smaller groups meet virtually to discuss today’s most relevant topics.
The summit provides attendees several opportunities to network with their colleagues, including a virtual cocktail hour and on-line meeting rooms.
While we encourage attendees to attend the live event, all sessions are recorded and available on-demand after the event.
The Summit is virtual allowing you to attend using your PC or tablet. Attendees do not need any special equipment, but a camera allows others to see you and makes the virtual more personal! Instructions are provided for joining and attending the event, as well as a simple process for receiving your CE credits at the conclusion of the summit.
The Research Pharmacy Summit welcomes all investigational pharmacy practitioners; it is not limited to or focused on current Vestigo clients.
