OCTOBER 30, 2017 – ANN ARBOR, MICH. – McCreadie Group, Inc., a privately held pharmacy software company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich., is pleased to announce that both University of Florida Health Shands Hospital and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland have chosen to implement Vestigo for their Investigational Drug Service (IDS) management.
Launched in 2005, Vestigo is the market leader in investigational drug service (IDS) automation with 70% of top NIH funded research institutions and 55% of NCI designated cancer centers being clients.
UF Health Shands Hospital is a comprehensive health center and has launched over 4,200 research studies over the past four years across nine major research institutes and centers. UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland is recognized throughout the world as a leader in healthcare and as one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation by U.S. World News & Report.
“We are proud to welcome these two well-known research institutions to the Vestigo family. It is rewarding to help these organizations streamline their IDS processes by implementing Vestigo, which will allow them to realize time-savings, efficiencies, and oversight the system offers around safety and compliance,” said Mike Schlesselman, Director of Research Products at McCreadie Group.
Vestigo eliminates many of the manual steps involved in IDS operations and has set the industry standard by significantly enhancing efficiencies while helping ensure that complex protocols are properly managed for consistency, safety, and compliance. It also facilitates compliance with the principles and best practices of IDS, including the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) Best Practice Standards, which apply to any clinical research involving medications.
